  1. The Green Table has 8 scenes:

    1 - Opens with gentleman in black, starting a war - shoots a gun in the air.
    2 - Separation from love ones 'the farewells'
    3 & 4 - War itself 'the battle and the partisan
    5 - Loneilness and misery in the refuges
    6 - The peoples lack emotion in 'the brothel'
    7 - psychologically beaten surviors (how people felt after the war)
    8 - ends - the gentleman at the Green table.

  2. The Green table is 30 minutes long. It is a dance of death in eight scenes - commentary on how pointless war is and the horrors it caused.

    In the video they are using gestures and tableux images. The movement is very dramatic and repitition is used to represent thay are going round in circles and their argument isn't going anywhere.
    The piece includes elements of ballet - pass de chat, essemble.
    Unison is used a lot - the soliders marching - balletic steps are used to represent the marching.
